ORMEC is ISO 9001:2008 Certified

ISO 9001:2008 is an international standard that defines requirements for an organization’s Quality Management System (QMS), and demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, as well as enhancing customer satisfaction. It is part of a family of standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) often referred to collectively as the ISO 9000 series.
Certification was granted by Bureau Veritas Certification, for its sales, market, design, manufacture, service and repair of motion control devices and related software and providing certified training for IEC 61131-3 programming. Bureau Veritas Certification is the most widely recognized registrar in the world today, providing options for multiple accreditations that are recognized worldwide.
Over the recent years, ORMEC has totally restructured itself through the implementation of company-wide lean manufacturing and business practices. Dr. Edward Krasnicki, President and CEO of ORMEC Systems, explains that “this change in business model has radically increased productivity and reduced cost, allowing ORMEC to be much more competitive on a global basis” . To complete the transformation, the team at ORMEC took on a very aggressive program to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification. By successfully completing the initial certification, and the subsequent recertification, ORMEC continues in the ranks of companies worldwide that are recognized for attaining the highest level of process, management and quality standards.
This outstanding achievement was a direct result of the entire organization working together to effectively develop and maintain the Quality Management System. Earning and maintaining this certification clearly shows the company’s commitment to exceeding our customer’s value, quality, and performance expectations.
