ServoWire
Motion & Logic Control Products
SMLC Multi-axis Controllers
All ServoWire Motion & Logic Controllers (SMLC) feature high performance
computing capability combined with a true real-time operating system (RTOS).
Using the industry standard family of Intel Pentium 32-bit processors
running the QNX RTOS provides plenty of cost-effective, powerful and robust
compute power for even the most demanding, multi-axis motion and I/O control
applications.

SMLC-SA - SMLC with Integrated Servo
Drive
The SMLC-SA combines ORMEC's high-performance drive technology with the
IEC-61131-3 programming capabilities of
the SMLC controller into a single, compact, cost-effective package.
The SMLC-SA is a single axis controller that is powerful enough to control
your entire machine.

ServoWire
SD Drives
ServoWire SD drives provide high performance servo
operation utilizing digital networking technology based on IEEE-1394b
(FireWire). Networked servos offer greater control
flexibility, since all system parameters are configurable in software.
Each ServoWire drive supports a variety of high performance servomotors. Two
series of drives offer solutions with power from 600 to 24,000 watts, and
continuous current output from 2.5 to 60 amps RMS/phase.

ServoWire
SM Drives
ServoWire SM drives provide the advantages of
IEEE-1394 networking and all-digital configuration, setup and operation of
servo systems. Plug N Play operation, superior diagnostics and elimination
of all manual drive adjustments (no pots or jumpers to set) reduces setup
time and maintenance. Networked servos also offer greater control
flexibility, since all system parameters are configurable in software.

H-Series
AC Brushless Servomotors
H-series servomotors offer continuous stall
torques from 3 to 665 lb-in (0.32 to 75 N-m) and provide high
torque-to-inertia ratios and excellent continuous torque and peak torque
performance in a compact design. These industrial quality servomotors
incorporate high-energy, rare earth, neodymium-iron-boron magnets and a
highly efficient stator winding design which results in excellent power
density. Rugged MS connectors provide reliable interconnections to
both motor and optical encoder.

IEC 61131-3 Programming
Developing motion and I/O programming with a
standard set of software tools streamlines software development and
creates application programs that are more effective and easier to
support in the field.

CoDeSys IEC 61131-3 programming with PLCopen motion function blocks
provide proven, open standard tools for developing application programs
for motion and I/O control -- running in a single controller.
Options
and effective solutions for I/O, HMIs and factory data networks
System flexibility, open standard connectivity and an array of
options for customers are the focus when it comes to interfacing the
SMLC to machine I/O, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and factory data
networks.
Utilizing open standard, communications technologies such as
Ethernet, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, Profibus DP and OPC server provides
flexible interfaces for connecting to general purpose I/O, HMIs and
factory data networks.
