ORMEC can assist you in bringing your automation project to a prompt and successful conclusion with a number of related services.
Design Engineering
ORMEC has an Applications Engineering department, available to assist you in making your automation project successful. Typical involvement here is to assist you develop the concept and the control strategy for your specific automation, motion, or data collection requirements. Applications engineers are available to speak with you by phone to answer questions you may have about your motion control application and to help you develop an approach to your automation project. Telephone support is provided at no charge. If your needs are more extensive, requiring in depth review, concepting of an application, or testing several control approaches, a quotation will be provided.
Systems Engineering
ORMEC also has a Systems Engineering department which can provide you with complete turnkey motion control solutions for your automation project. This group provides integration support ranging from configuring standard application software packages to designing and programming complex multi-axis motion control systems.
Control Cabinets
ORMEC is prepared to design and build your control cabinets, and is a UL registered shop. ORMEC applications personnel can completely manage the integration of your motion control system from specification to system start-up, including acceptance testing before shipment.
Installation & Startup
ORMEC will take on as much or as little of the system installation and commissioning as you need. We have done installations and startups in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. These projects have been as simple as a small machine being commissioned in a few days, to as large as projects involving involving workers from several different tradesgroups and requiring a month or more for completion.
